Within
When I arrived to live on Bribie Island at the start of 1998, I decided
to put all my management
teaching notes on the Net for anyone to use - there was no
point in
throwing them away and I was not likely to be doing any more permanent
management teaching. I was the Coordinator of the local Community
Visitors'
Scheme for a couple of years and, during that time, had a page for
them. Now I
am retired again and spend my time teaching seniors and others how to
use
computers - free lessons for Bongaree
Neighbourhood Watch.
We have formed a Bribie
Island Seniors' Computer Club - over 300 members in 4 months! Having
applied
for incorporation for Bongaree
NHW, we then applied
to the Quensland State
Government's Gambling
Community Benefit Fund for $17,000 which was approved. We now have 8
computers,
a laptop and a digital camera; we borrow a data projector from
