Stereotypes You May Expect To Find

In A Group

1 • The Chatterbox

talks continually, rarely on the topic, and has little of any worth to contribute.

2 • The Sleeper

is uninterested in proceedings, uses the meeting to catch up sleep. Some have the ability to sleep with eyes open.

3 • The Destroyer

crushes any and every idea put forward, can always find something wrong with plans, solutions, routines, etc.

4 • The Rationalist

makes worthwhile contributions, his ideas are well thought out, which makes other group members envious.

5 • The Trapper

waits for the opportune moment to inform everyone that there has been an error made; tries to trap the chairperson.

6 • The Know-All

tries to monopolise the conversation, has many good ideas.

7 • The Thinker

is shy but when he does speak is a great asset to the group.
